The National Saemangeum Reclamation Museum opened on August 7, 2023, and serves as the only museum in the country specializing in land reclamation, illuminating the history, culture, science, and future of land reclamation in South Korea.

Korea has initiated land reclamation projects since ancient times, creating over 100 reclamation sites to date.
Such reclamation efforts have significantly contributed to the economic development of humanity.

The National Saemangeum Reclamation Museum will continue to lead in promoting the history and culture of land reclamation, and strive to be a museum that contributes to regional development centered on Saemangeum.
